Cédric RIVIERE studied law at the University of Limoges where he obtained a Master’s degree in Corporate Law in 2006. After his degree, he was appointed head of the Legal Department for a group of accounting firms in Périgueux, Dordogne. Cédric speaks fluent English and so also dealt with the tax affairs of their English-speaking clients.
In parallel with this work, he studied and passed his Bar exams in 2015. Following a further two years of study at Law School Aliénor at Bordeaux University, he graduated as a Lawyer, taking his Oath of Office before the Bordeaux Courts in 2017.
Cédric launched his own company (Cabinet Rivière Avocat France) in January 2018, working as a Tax Avocat in Perigueux, dealing with both French and English-speaking clients.
International Taxation of Individuals
With more than a decade of experience in international income tax, Cédric advises individuals with their tax obligations. He also advises on their status as tax residents or non-residents of France, and assists with the filing of their tax returns.
Working mainly with a British clientele, he is the author of publications on the application of the France/UK Double Tax Agreement.
