Paulette Peterson ATT (fellow)

paulette peterson - international tax adviserPaulette has been advising on expatriate and international tax for over thirty years, having started her career in UK and US personal tax for expatriates with a global firm in London  and, latterly, was the Senior Manager, heading up the Expatriate Tax Services  at Ernst & Young in Cambridge, advising on all aspects of international personal tax including international assignment planning and social security issues. 

She and her husband then decided to move to France, and since then Paulette has been providing ad-hoc personal, business and international tax consulting advice to UK and overseas clients of a regional UK practice and has now established PetersonSims with Gerry Sims to provide specialist international tax services.

Away from the office, Paulette has spent several years undertaking a “hands on” restoration of a barn in the Perigord region and is now happily settled there with her husband, Norman. 

Three things you may not know about Paulette

  • She was part of the three man pit-lane crew for one of the Newcomer teams at the 2012 Manx Grand Prix in the Isle of Man.

  • She likes all forms of horse-power and rides both horses and motorbikes.

  • She is terrified of spiders!
